I have been a patient of Dr. Patel for over a decade. From the first visit I had with him, felt he understood me and my needs as a person, consequently, a high degree of trust was established. Over the years he has always been attentive and a good listener, showing a sincere concern for my well being. The referrals to specialist doctors have been excellent, demonstrating a desire to offer me the best health care available. I mentioned a trip I had planned to Morocco to Dr. Patel and he suggested I take a prescription for stomach bug as a precaution. His foresight saved me from a lot of misery. Thorough Decision Making
I was on a medication called a beta blocker for high blood pressure for long time—8 years. I saw Dr. Patel as a new patient. He ordered an EKG because I was on the medicine. No one ever checked that test before with my other provider. It showed a heart block and the medicine needed to to be stopped. I eventually needed a pacemaker. I feel it took a lot of depth in thorough decision making for him to check that and so happy he did.”

I thought I had heartburn on Friday night and scheduled an appointment for Monday. I called Dr. Patel. He wasn’t available so spoke to his nurse. He called me back later and advised me to go to the ER and had me admitted. Saved my life. I ended up with open heart surgery two days later. Still doing well.
